This is not to say depictions of being eaten are NSFW, it all boils down to the core elements. People will apply “vore” to pretty much anything revolving around being eaten alive. But that is not what vore actually is. Vore is short for vorarephilia which is the explicit desire to consume or be consumed by another. People use “vore” as a slang term nowadays, but a lot of what they call vore is not ACTUALLY vore.

So, in short, vore is absolutely NSFW.

Someone being eaten is NOT NSFW.

BUT then i can argue that Its a much less well known thing and yet is still used in movies. thogh its known a lot more now, it was still used a lot in the past.

vore is a fetish - fetishes are mostly for sexual arousal, an nsfw picture is well a picture meant to turn you on, it's common sense, and because of the ppl exposing minors to this kind of stuff (which is sad and really disgusting) some dumbasses think vore (along with other fetishes) is SFW
