Pov: When the old man has the eye of a vulture

Then you starting watching over him
for a few nights, planning his death.
You finally manage,
cut off all his limbs
put him under the floorboards to his room,
some cops arrive from a neighbor
claiming that they had heard a shriek.
You invite them in,
show them the old man's treasures,
And you pull out some chairs,
Chat with them until you grow
paranoid and ill.
You start going insane,
you start hearing the old man's heartbeat
from under the floor boards,
leading up to you confessing
that you had killed the old man.
