Major life update (vent? Kinda)

There’s a reason why I was late with the Christmas post and why it looks so rushed. It is and for a reason.
For a pretty long time, I had a lingering feeling, that this year won’t be good, Christmas included, which in my family is the holiday, that everyone wait for the most. Sad to say, my Christmas wasn’t that good, in fact, it was ruined. The one time of the year, when the entire family unites, all destroyed because of 1 person’s ego.
Long story short, my parents are getting a divorce. How it happened, you may ask?
Here’s the story :
My dad lashed out in front of the entire family on Christmas Eve. My mom had invited my cousin and her family over for dinner, which for some, unbeknownst to me, reason, pissed my dad off. He had promised to be calm, to respect the family, after all it’s holidays, but not even 5 minutes had passed, before this psychopath starts yelling and practically launching at my cousin and her husband. If not my older sisters and my mom, he would attack her and her children. The presence of my older sisters boyfriend didn’t bother him at all. I won’t go into details, but they were yelling for a pretty long time, and my father even went as far as attacking one of my older sisters, nearly breaking her arm.
He has ruined relationships with everyone in this family, he destroyed his entire life with this one lash out. He has been living off of my mother for years, mentally terrorising everyone in my family, physically attacking one of my sisters on multiple occasions and etc. . He is a narcissistic moron, who I never wish to see in my life ever again. As soon as the new year strikes, my mom is divorcing that psychopath and kicking him out of the house. He has been unemployed for years, despite being able to work, so no one cares where he’ll end up. For me and my sisters, this jerk stopped being our father that evening. He finally showed his real face and what kind of a shitty person he is.
I just needed to throw this out somewhere. Sorry
