i hate alight motion its so ass along with the community

1. it is NOT and never will be an animation app. animation in my eyes is real animation when they actually move the characters and draw every frame themselves (the exception being nothing moving onscreen). alight motion just generates the fucking frames for you, all you gotta do is preset some shit and bam you're done 💔

2. why is the alight motion community genuinely so toxic?? i almost got doxxed by someone in an alight motion-centered discord server because i said i dont think people should call it animation tf is wrong with 75% of yall

3. ive asked a lot of people if alight motion should be called a tweening app and i'm gonna metaphorically hold your hand when i say nobody has agreed with me.

4. its such a lazy excuse for animation, and whenever i'm on shorts & see an alight motion tween post NOT AN ANIMATION STFU i genuinely look down to see if there's "#animation" or anything of the like. i've commented so much times on AM users' posts that it isn't animation that i've given up commenting

i agree, ive been trying to tween and watch tutorials and all that left me with was some as shit-

I mean by google’s definition animation is: “ the technique of photographing successive drawings or positions of puppets or models to create an illusion of movement when the movie is shown as a sequence.” which is a wiggly concept. Basically anything can be animation if you look at it at different angles. Then again it is kind of an insult when frame by frame animators do something that tweening can do in much less time. Same thing with animation rigs
