i'm not very fond of those types of people that say something among the lines of:

"i have xyz mental disorder so i do xyz habit"
or
"i have xyz mental disorder, which is good/cute"
or even
"i have xyz mental disorder, please respect me."
above said when confronted for doing something awful.

mental disorders are to be respected and included - not idolized, misinterpreted, nor meant to be used as a key to get out of awful situations, such as being confronted for an awful thing done.

i am a person with diagnosed autism and ADHD, i do not welcome these types of people who misinterpret, idolize, or even full-on disrespect people with mental disorders into our community, no matter how much they try to squeeze in.

I agree. I have pretty much every aspect of a learning disability. I cant remember things very well, have trouble paying attention, and struggle with reading, writing, math, and pretty much everything. to see someone else with a disability do something bad then blame it on there disability infureates me. You still have to think about what you're going to do before you do it, then do it. If i can hold a proper conversation with you you shouldn't be able to us that excuse. Its even worse when there faking it, or its self diegnosed.
