Theres no paint without "pain" ❤︎(lil vent)

Noone asked but my teacher gave me a small version of a really hard painting on normal paper. It’s printed out and now I have to recreate it on a giant piece of cardboard. it’s been a long time since I’ve painted, and this…this stupid task is literally the hardest one she could’ve possibly found..... she has high expectations of me and expects me to tackle challenging stuff so I can (no, SHE can) “flex” later.So here I am drawing on this massive fricking piece of cardboard. It is super detailed and constantly needs fixing because everything has to be perfectly symmetrical(or ill get an ITCH) which is exhausting cuz symmetry is my weak spot. I’ve been working on this thing for almost two months and the pressure to finish it is insane. I’d probably finish it faster if I even wanted to draw it from the start💔💔😭… sadly my teacher doesn’t really care about what I go through and it shows. she just wants the final result. On top of that I have to exhibit it like a little project and it has to be done by March 15th(my birthday btw hehehwe). I am pretty close to finishing it but I’ve been procrastinating ALOT.... This painting is draining the LIFE out of me. It looks good but im sick of looking at it. I can’t wait to finally finish it and be done.:/ I just want to finally feel proud of myself once it’s out there because right now I’m only feeling the pressure. Everybody keeps reminding me I have to finish it and pointing out tiny spots like "Oh fiX thAt!" OK I KNOW I’M TRYING.
