It really depends on if they have side eyes or predator eyes. A lot of beginners start with doing side profiles exclusively, with just the one eye, so trying to apply that into a 3D space can get very confusing very fast.

I recommend looking at how it is done in My Little Pony, since they have predator eyes for some reason. That’s how I did it anyways.
