Um......... that was weird

A few days ago I was helping with try outs for rookies in guard, and how it went was a veteran was partnered with a rookie and each try out would have two groups at a time go in the main room while everyone else waited in the hallway. So me and my partner got finished with our try outs first and sat at the end of the hallway and we started talking for a while. Then this dude showed up and apparently my partner knew this guy. I talked to the guy a bit but, he was kinda strange. For example, he would come close to me and look at me quite a bit, but I didn’t know if he had maybe wanted a sticker since I was giving them to the rookies. A little bit later the rookie I was hanging out with left and I went to the middle of the hallway to hang out with one of my friends. My friend got called in to try out and I could see the dude coming in the hallway and slowly walking my way. I didn’t really think much of it until he came right next to me and legit caressed my ear with his hand. At that moment I didn’t really know how to comprehend the situation so I just looked up at him and said “Um....... ok” and he just stood there looking at me until my friend came back into the hallway and then he finally left. I literally don’t know what the heck that was for but it has left me extremely confused.
