My phone is so stupid

If I'm at like 20 - 16 it will not plug in when I'm 15 and Below it will plug in . My phone will be on like 50 when I plug it in I will wait an hour then I check it to see if it's at 100 but my phone has the audacity become 10% my mom just says that's how it works my phone has the audacity to do that. My phone also has the audacity you unplug whenever it wants so I'll be playing like an game where I have to see the screen and then out of nowhere it pops up that says that my 15% whenever my phone is freaking charging.
