Planning on cutting my hair

I have really long, thick hair (i measured and it’s 32 inches long) and I’ve had it at this length since the 7th grade and now I’m starting to get tired of it. I’m planning on cutting around 10 inches off, and getting some side bangs. I’m mainly doing this because, like I said, I’m tired of having such long hair and also I like to style my hair and it will make it easier. I’m most likely going to cut it around the time school starts.
