It scavenges, it dosent hunt. It’s deer like body type makes it difficult to jump up and tear at it’s prey. So instead it finds dead animals(not much of a preference) using its clawed hoofs to tear through the rotting meat.

And to add on to that, Subject now was able to find a young fawn, who looks like she was well fed, and hears how her mother recalls to her as Delilah. Looks like Subject looks up to Delilah very much with her grace and natural beauty, but they want to learn how to dance too, but it fails in more ways than one. And Subject only looks at her from afar, wishing they didn’t look the way they did and fear that she would run away.

Also rotten flesh is like beef jerky for Subjects mixed teeth.
