My dad verbally abused us all and now he wants me to forgive him, mind you after that I need to go to the hospital and he got drunk to forget the discussion and find a outlet and he used Alexa to send hate messages when he was drunk, and now that hes sober, he feels like his actions were wrong but right, mind you hes a fucking therapist for people with alchohol and drug abuse and other crime things so I don't understand

My old man was the same, he did a lot of verbal abuse to me and my brother, he tried manipulating us into fighting with each other or even turning us against my mom. To the point I was scared of talking. He always expected an apology too 😞
