But we weren't allowed to talk about Hitler, Stalin, Roosevelt or anyone else we would get shouted at and loose our breaktime-

In kindergarten shouldn't get political. Kindergartners are supposed to learn how to count, ABC's, read, and get along with each other and enjoy life. I guess they can know some historical figures like Martin Luther King but not in historical but mostly political in very deep depth lessons at their age. If u get what I mean.
