OC Redesign 1: Coal (☆𝕆𝕪𝕖𝕗𝕦𝕞☆‘s OC)
Yay! First Redesign! This one will probably be the most simple since… black and white, but that makes it easier for me hehe ｡ﾟ✶ฺ.ヽ(*´∀`*)ﾉ.✶ฺﾟ｡
Okay! Going over my choices, I decided that the main changes would be the outfit as ☆𝕆𝕪𝕖𝕗𝕦𝕞☆ asked for a better outfit specifically ((≡ຶ◡≡ຶ))
I kept his hair mostly the same, but I added in small white lines to differentiate hair tuffs and such. That makes it easier to cue in that it’s Coal if you draw a lot of black haired guys, but it’s a small, unnecessary change. It’s just something to make him more unique (ฅ’ω’ฅ)♥
I gave him a casual outfit. I like the black turtleneck and how it fits him, but I also didn’t want his balance to be too dark on the upper body, so you can add a layer of white on top! It’s just messing with the balance of the black and whites on his design. If you did want to keep the turtleneck as the main piece, I made him have jeans in the smaller drawing. It has more details than sweats, so it still gives a sense of balance between the top and bottom pieces <3
Wow! A lot of words, but this shows my thought process and how I change designs!
Remember! You can have an OC who wears multiple outfits! I’ll show this more in other redesigns, but I think some people struggle with liking their OCs because they draw the same thing over and over! It can get boring, so just keep in mind, small changes can help you settle in with a design (ฅ’ω’ฅ)♥
