Yeah, especially the ocean. Plastic is terrible. Although co2 may not be too much of a problem soon. If most meat farms are replaced by lab grown meat, it can cut down carbon emissions by around 46 percent. Plus if we use only build houses with non concrete 3d printers from now, we can cut about 8 percent more off. Plastic in the ocean (and land) is the main threat though. I guess there are Plastic eating bacteria, but we don't really have good enough solution for plastics. (That I know of).
