Oh I see

I'll might join ROTC but when I become an adult I can see the most likely thing to happen is I will join the actual military, albeit only infantry, in order to have benefits especially for college, because it is not up for debate whether or not I go to college, I definitely will

theres always rotc for when ur 18+ too and i imagine it to be the same just not as school lenient i guess?? like a bootcamp but not in a way that leads u immediately to the army after
theres also some rotcs that take place of bootcamp, i used to do cap for the airforce when i was little and it counted as time for bootcamp but i dropped out im also in young marines but you literally like do nothing and occasionally go on tiny trips to listen to recruiters
but ya the benefits do definitely seem worth it but i dont think id go to college either LOL but theres also a lot of health benefits and 401k stuff and bla bla bla . & a tip if u do plan on joining being in rotc automatically boots u up to e-2 obviously you still gotta go theough bootcamp but you basically skip e-1. unless u go into the navy then they let u become an e-3 which is really cool
