Oof, the sun has nowhere near enough mass to go supernova nor enough velocity to go blue giant. The worst damage it will do before turning into a white dwarf will destroy the earth and all 4 planets in the way when it goes red giant. The white dwarf phase eventually dies into a black dwarf, then the black dwarves will die blah blah blah... the universe gets plunged into black holes blah blah blah... then the blackholes die... blah blah blah.... then the universe is dead...
