The community can be toxic yes and it's very hard to get noticed. I totally understand, I was so upset when I saw that someone just looking for attention got on the ranking. I don't think it's over reacting, I understand how you feel. Please just be patient with it though, you'll get there.. Even if it's not much, you'll get new followers that appreciate your art so much!
