(I can start but I probably won't join in later im just going to make a similar start to most of my dnd starts)

A group of adventures were wondering though a dark vast forest the trees towering over them as thay wondered deeper the leaves make soft crunching sounds under their feet which was the only noise that could be heard which was calming but a sense of dread can be felt as there surroundings seem to get darker
