Hmm I wonder where this came from…

*Minty Chip carried on hunting, burying the prey once caught, then marking it with a smell that should keep anything from stealing the prey. Maybe I should just catch a little more prey then I’ll head back.. she thought.*

*while heading further into the forest she suddenly smelled something bad. She was curious though, so she went to the source of the smell. She found something buried into the ground. She glanced around as if wondering if it was a trap, but there was nothing here that looked like a trap. So, she dug up what had been buried, which was a bird.*

“Okay well, I’ll be back again” *Minty Chip walked off into the forest.*

(New perspective, not gonna tell who yet)
*She stepped into the forest through her portal. She thought that maybe she should see what’s here, just to explore, then go back. Maybe there will be something useful for her here but she doubts it. As she walks around, she immediately noticed how green the forest was, like really green and bright. Then, she noticed that she hears more noises here than the forest where she lived, it was mostly quiet but there would occasionally be a few crows and owls that could be heard.*

“Alright then we’ll just keep the herbs then, you can have them if the pain intensifies or if it’s just uncomfortable. By the way, are you hungry? I could try to hunt for a bunch of prey for you. I can’t catch anything like a deer but I can get a bunch of rabbits, birds, and squirrels..”

“Oh that’s great! So that means you don’t need the herbs now right?” *She glanced at the remaining pile of herbs*

Yeah mine automatically updates so when it updates I’m like: “hold up. Wait a minute. Something ain’t right.”

*Minty Chip looked over to Dart* “Oh! Good morning! How’s your paw?” * she padded over to Dart near the herbs*

*Minty looked over at Dart again, wondering what she could be dreaming about. She’s probably chasing something, maybe like a deer… Minty thought. Minty Chip finished the last bites of her rabbit and discarded the bones by burying them. She wanted to go hunting again, but she’d rather wait for Dart to wake up so she can see how her paw is doing. So, Minty Chip lay down, unsure what to do while she waits.*

*Minty looked over at Dart, she couldn’t help but laugh a little. She tried to laugh quietly though, to try not to wake Dart. After all, she did need the rest to heal her paw. Minty went back to eating the rabbit*

*The sun woke Minty Chip up. She got up with a stretch and yawned. Minty Chip padded over to the prey pile and grabbed a rabbit to eat.*

(Time skip to morning?)

*Minty Chip yawned, realizing that she was tired.* “I’m going to sleep now, I’m really tired.” * she laid down on the grass, curled up, and fell asleep.*

“Oh really? I would like that! Thank you!”

“Yes actually, but they keep following me, setting up the traps, trying to catch specifically me. I don’t even know why..”

“Yeah I’ve only met the humans who set up traps in the forests, they’re not that nice, to me at least. But maybe that’s because I’m a fox..”

“Oh no. That sounds awful. I’m glad you’re alright though, humans can be pretty vicious.”

“Oh okay.” *Minty Chip focused on eating her squirrel. She looked up to see it was starting to get late. Then she noticed Dart’s scars.* “oh wow those scars look pretty painful, how’d that happen?”

*Minty Chip ended up catching a couple squirrels and rabbits. She struggled a bit to carry them all but she got it. She came back to Dart and set the prey next to the herbs.* “There we are. Go ahead and grab whatever you’d like.” *Minty Chip grabbed a squirrel out of the pile and ate it next to Dart*

“Alright then, I’m gonna go hunting really quick though, so just make yourself comfortable and you can have some more of the herbs if the numbness wears off.” *she once again headed back into the forest, tracking for prey that was as plump as she could possibly find.*
