*Minty Chip looked down at Dart anxiously. Garnet continued to heal Dart until all her wounds were gone. Meanwhile, she was aware that Pouncer had left, so she let the shield down so she could concentrate more on healing.*

*Garnet turned quickly to Pouncer.* “ why are you so determined to kill Minty Chip?! What has she done to you?!” *She roared with frustration. Garnet turned back to Dart and began to heal her by resting her paw on Dart’s back. While doing this, she put up a shield around the three of them so that Pouncer won’t be able to do any further damage.*

*Garnet ignored Pouncer as she turned to Minty Chip and Dart. “Yeah I’m okay, but what about you? We need to heal your paw!” “I can help with that.” *Minty Chip looked up at Garnet. “Oh okay..” *Minty stepped aside to let Garnet heal Dart.*

*Garnet and Minty Chip arrived to see Dart falling to the ground. Minty rushed over to Dart, grabbing the rest of the herbs for her to eat. Garnet walked between the three of them, glaring at Pouncer.*

*Minty slowly blinked awake. She was alive. She looked up to see what seemed to be like a huge black and red dragon looking down on her. She yelped in surprise.* “Its alright, I’m not going to hurt you.”*the dragon said. Minty calmed down and asked,* “who are you..?” “Oh, well, my name is Garnet, pleasure to meet you.. err..” “It’s Minty Chip.” “Yes, of course. Well it’s nice to meet you. Shall we go back and help your friend?” *Minty Chip realized that Dart could be in danger from whoever attacked her.* “yes let’s go back.” *she said with a worried tone.*

*she was confused. Then she realized she was wasting time, the fox needed water. Shaking her head, she took the fox and rushed into the woods, where she found a river. She took some nearby dry moss and dipped it into the water. She made the unconscious fox drink a good amount of water so that she could regain her strength when she woke up.*

*She heard the dragon move, so she turned her head and growled as a warning.*

(Minty Chip is now unconscious)
*she looked up at the dragon, tipping her head to the side confused as she said,* “I have already healed her. We need to get her some water now, she has lost a great amount of blood.”

*Minty Chip laid there as she bled. She was scared that she would lose too much blood, but she wasn’t strong enough to do anything, not even speak.*

*she let out a roar as she tried to help get the attacker off the fox. The dragon fired on its face, and it left. She roared loudly at it as it left. She turned her head to the fox, seeing that she was bleeding. She could heal her, but her healing powers were pretty rusty as she had used fighting more than healing. She crouched down by the fox and licked her wounds, clearing up her blood while also using her power to close her wounds.*

*Minty Chip yelped. She tried to fight back but she was too scared to focus on it, and ended up fighting the air. She screamed as it clawed her, her blood splattering.*

*she finally decided to just ask for help. Maybe they won’t know that I stole it.. she thought, but she knew that they would know because of her scent. She got close to them when she heard fighting. Curious, she got closer through the shadows, and saw something attacking the fox. Without thinking, she lunged at the attacker.*

“Alright here you are.” *Minty said, nudging the herbs to Dart. She couldn’t help thinking about that thing that dug up her prey.. not because she was mad about it, but because she was confused. Why would anyone just ignore the scent of a fox? Unless it was a lion or something, but those aren’t around here.. so what was out there..?*

*she had no luck in finding any powerful resources in this forest. Then it hit her. She’d heard the blast from that dragon. Maybe they could take me home, she thought. But then she remembered that she’d stolen their prey. She didn’t know what to do.*

*they’d get the rest of the prey Minty Chip had caught. They went back to the clearing of where they rested.* “do you want any more of the herbs? We still have quite a bit left..”

*once the deer had been killed, she swiftly ate it. It definitely filled her up more, and it was tastier than the bird. Once she finished, she began walking again, searching for any powerful material that could help her get back home. She was capable of doing it herself, but not now, she was growing tired, but she didn’t want to spend the night here.*

“Alright, we’ll let’s just continue walking, we can deal with whatever did this later.” *Minty Chip helped Dart up, and leaded her towards the other buried spots*

*She was really hungry now, but she wanted to go home. Sighing, she walked around to find something to catch. She spotted a deer, but she didn’t know what it was. She thought maybe this is something she could eat, so she crouched, creeping closer through the shadows. She got close enough, and pounced. The deer flailed it’s legs as it tried to escape, but she was way stronger, and she killed the deer with a single bite to the neck.*

*Minty gasped,*”oh! Are you okay?” *she went over to Dart and crouched by her. She heard rustling and flitted her eyes up, but nothing was there.*

*As the dragon yelped, she quickly realized this was her chance to escape. She backed out slowly again, then quickly ran from the dragon and the fox. She grew tired, and stopped to take a breath. She was lost, and she wasn’t able to find her way back to her portal. It probably closed by now anyway, she thought. But now she’ll have to find some things powerful enough to activate one again.*

(I won’t be able to reply for a while I’m going somewhere)

“What do you think it is that did this? It definitely left a strange scent..” *Minty Chip wondered.*

*She quickly saw that the dragon was looking for her. She slowly and carefully backed out. But she knew that she wouldn’t be able to get away unseen. She couldn’t fly away, they would see her. She couldn’t run away, they would chase her. And she obviously can’t stay here. She was trapped.*

“Alright let’s go then.”*she smiled. Minty Chip leaded the way to where she’d buried her prey. They’d first arrived to what seemed like the prey has been dug up.* “looks like someone dug this up.. I guess my scent wasn’t enough to scare them off.” *Minty Chip was left confused.*

*She followed the both of them carefully, making no sound and hiding in shadows. This place was way more difficult to hide in than her home she realized. She saw that they’d discovered the prey she dug up. She lingered in her place, curious what they’d do.*

“Oh it’s okay.” *she sighed with relief* “I’ve caught some prey if you want to eat some of that. I’ve got more buried around though so I’m gonna have to make a couple of trips. You can come with me if you want.”

*she arrived at where she heard the sound. She knew because she could smell something burnt. She could hear voices near, so she was cautious, and she crouched toward them, hiding in the shadows so she could blend in better. She listened into their conversation.*

*Minty Chip could smell something..burnt? She slowed her pace as she was confused. She continued to trot though, as she was still concerned. Then she saw Dart walking away from the smell. “Hey, what happened? I heard a blast.”

*She stopped running. She suddenly realized, why should she be afraid? Whatever did that was probably smaller than her, as everything she’d seen here so far was way smaller than her. She was a bit nervous though, because there COULD be something here larger than her, like the trees are… but trees are always large anyway. So, she finally decided to go back to the sound.*

*Minty Chip arrived with her first trip of prey. She immediately noticed that Dart was gone. She began to worry. It’s fine, maybe she just took a walk.. Minty thought, trying to comfort herself. She then heard a blast. She dropped the prey in the pile then cantered over to the sound.*

*She got up from the ground and started walking around again. She was still hungry, as that bird was way smaller than her stomach. Maybe I’ll find more of them she thought. Then she heard a loud blast. Whatever it was, it was close. She jumped a little from the sound and tried to hide under a bush. She was too big though, so it was no use hiding, so she ran away from the sound*
