I know, and it just makes the whole situation worse. To not even be able to do anything about it yet. But if you do make it out of that household, I would then suggest trying to talk to them about it. You don’t have to, of course, but it’s an option if you want to think about it.

I’m sorry about this huge paragraph, and believe me, I want to say even more! This just upsets me on a whole new level. I’m very sorry you have to go through this. And especially while watching others being able to do things that you’re not allowed to. It’s really unfair, and I have NO idea what anyone in your family is thinking while this happens to you, because this is just wrong.

Even controlling what you play? There seems to be no privacy here, and it is wrong. You should be able to have the freedom of doing whatever you want, including drawing, ESPECIALLY drawing. Drawing is a form where you can express yourself in every way possible. NO ONE should be able to take that away from you. And to hear that they don’t allow you to draw other animals is also unfair, that limits your creativity, which is not how to parent if you ask me. It’s one thing if you’re trying to protect a toddler from violence, but it’s another if you’re keeping your child from creativity. This is exactly how you teach your children to be afraid of trying new things.

Ok I just don’t get this. I really don’t understand. Just WHY. Just let people express themselves how they want! It’s literally none of your business anyway unless said so. It shouldn’t even matter or affect you anyway. I’m really sorry that this is happening to you, let alone happening AGAIN. I hope this can be resolved somehow and I hope you will be okay.
