*Echocloud acknowledged the sound of the mouse by a flick of her ear.* "I know borders aren't the most exciting thing to learn, but it's nonetheless one of the most important things to learn. I'll teach you how to hunt another day, Mothpaw."

"Well, we're not sure why they do this. But it's good that we have this river to separate us from them and keep us safe. Alright, let me show you the border to the twolegplace. " * Echocloud felt more comfortable with mentoring now. I don't know why I was worried, she thought, I actually think I enjoy this. Echocloud signaled with her tail for Mothpaw to follow as she started walking towards the twolegplace.*

(Oh alr. Also, you said that daylight warriors go to their twolegs during the day.)

"I think you'll like the forest. Come, we'll start with the river." *Echocloud led Mothpaw through the camp entrance, and towards the river. The forest was mostly green, with some brown leaves from leaffall still littered on the ground, though mostly buried in the ground. The morning air was still a bit crisp from leafbear, but the flowers and grass showed it was newleaf. Birds could be heard chirping and flapping in the trees. Up ahead, the running of the river could be heard, and after a few moments, it could be seen, winding through the forest. Echocloud stopped near the edge of the river and looked at Mothpaw. * "this is the river, it's used as a border from the twoleg camp that's farther across it. We must be careful near it during newleaf and greenleaf, since that's when they usually settle in that camp."

(That's okay, I was actually waiting at a restaurant while writing those. I would've wrote more on the previous one but the food came so I had to stop lol. Also yes he's a daylight warrior, but actually daylight warriors go to their twolegs during the night, they stay in the clan in the day)

*Echocloud stopped in front of her apprentice and waved in greeting." I think I'd like to take you to the borders today, just so you can see all of SootClan's territory."

*Echocloud turned to Salemshine. * "Looks like Mothpaw's up. I'd better go, thank you Salemshine, see you later." "Okay! I'll see you later, Echocloud! You're going to do great!" *Salemshine encouraged as Echocloud started walking towards Mothpaw, waving her tail goodbye to Salemshine.*

*Echocloud is sharing tongues with Salemshine near the warrior's den.* "how are you feeling about mentoring for the first time? Excited?" *Salemshine asks enthusiastically. Echocloud hesitates a few heartbeats, looking down at her paws, then shrugs.* "I don't know... I'm nervous. I hope I'm not too harsh." "Oh don't say that! I'm sure you'll do great!" *Salemshine responds, giving her a gentle nudge. Echocloud looks back up at him thankfully.*
