*Echocloud looked at Mothpaw's injury worriedly.* "Are you okay, Mothpaw? What happened?" *Creekstorm sat down as she waited to hear Mothpaw's story.*

*Echocloud quickly padded into the medicine den to see what happened. I hope he's not hurt too badly, she thought.*

*Creekstorm was up checking and sorting herbs in the store.* "I need more dock...marigold...catmint-" *she looked up to the sound of pawsteps approaching. Mothpaw was limping towards her, and she could see his mentor, Echocloud, quickly padding over.* "Hi Mothpaw, what's wrong?"

* Echocloud woke up to the sound of birds chirping in the early dawn. With a big yawn, she stretched out of her nest and headed out into the camp. She remembered about Mothpaw. What should she teach him today? She thought about taking him through the forest, but she thought that he could learn that as they went along with training. I'll teach him how to gather moss to change bedding, she thought, then I'll teach him how to tend to the elders' ticks. Basic apprentice duties should be learned early after all.*
