Kira: *she hands it over.*

Creature: er... I don't actually know... sorry

Kira: *after a minute, she returns with the amulet. It's rusty with some pieces missing, but the dark purple gem in the middle still looks mostly intact with a few cracks.* Here, I've got it.

Kira: perfect. I don't think it should be damaged too badly, its definitely fixable. I'll go get it, just hang on a second. *she uses a teleportation spell and dissappears.*

Kira: Ah, I see... kind of like this amulet I use for my normal magic... *points to the golden amulet holding a green gem at her chest* if I remember correctly, I may have found a similar variation of this... except... older and damaged... do you think that could work?

Kira: a "Dark Key"? As in a literal key or...? I have some magical artifacts, but I don't think I have anything like that

Kira: *waits silently, noticing the rat scurry away.*

Kira: *laughs awkwardly and mutters* yeah, I have to work on that... Oh, yes! Of course!

Kira: alright... *waves her paws around, and a dark circle appears in front of her. Shadows lift from the summoning circle and form into a small rat.* er... I meant to summon something different but that's fine I guess...

Kira: Well, I wouldn't say I know a lot in that particular field... yet... I know some simple spells, and I'm working on a couple summoning spells too.

Raptor: Ah, now I see why you're actin' up... wanna make a good impression for your new teacher, huh? Heh, well I'll best be goin' now. Good luck Kira.

Kira: yeah, whatever...

Kira: what-?! Ugh fine! Tell the story I guess...

Raptor: *chuckles* Oh Kira, there's nothin' to be embarrassed about, its a good story! Anyway, yeah she likes to open this dark portal to a whole other realm that was dark and shadowy. She won't tell me what she does there though, and insists I don't go with her, but there was one time where she left this sort of purple gem that was needed to open the portal to get back. She was lucky she thought of something like that happening, and brought some magical paper things that teleported straight to me!

Kira: Honestly, I shouldn't have asked for YOU to help. It took way too long for you to understand how to open the portal. Even Sprinkles would've gotten it faster than you.

Kira: Oh, don't mind him, he's just-

Raptor: I'm just your friendly dragon Raptor, nice to meet'cha. Kira is a friend of mine, and I thought I might just check on her, make sure she's not doin' anything too crazy. Y'know once she got stuck in this shadowy realm-

Kira: *nudges Raptor* AHEM! That story isn't relevant. Anyway, you've seen me now. I'm in one piece. So if you'll excuse us, we're busy right now.

Kira: Oh yes, of course-

Raptor: Oh, hey there Kira! makin' new friends I see?
