Watcher: *They shake their head a little, and notice that they were still holding a tomato.* aha... sorry... *they laugh nervously, putting the tomato back down.*

(Yeah that's what I want to convey, but I don't really know what I'm doing lol, the real reason behind it is because I liked both the bird head and the fox head, but I didn't know which one to pick so I just draw whatever one I feel like.)

Watcher: *...they did appear from a burst of light. Was this perhaps a time traveling mechanism? They do seem to be wearing some sort of medieval armor. They think to themselves, piecing together a potential explanation to their sudden and mysterious arrival.*

(The reason they switch between appearances like that is mainly because they want to figure out which one is more approachable. But I may change this detail to make it so they change based on their mood, or something similar to that.)

Watcher: *They use their watchful endless eyes to observe where the feline was headed, then slithers out of the void into the shadow of a building in the town. How would I even help them? I said I'd leave them alone, and they surely wouldn't like to see me here... perhaps I should just do what I do best... watching. Maybe then I could get some information. They think to themselves. In order not to look suspicious, they pretend to browse along a flea market that happens to be in the street in front of them, picking up various fruits and vegetables to inspect them, and putting them back down.*

(THE LOOOOOORRRREEEE)
Watcher: *The watcher looks back, contemplating whether to follow. No, it will just spook them further... but... oh, I just have to try to help! They start to run towards them, but then a second later realizing they could just get around through the shadows. They turn back around, and sink into the darkness.*

Watcher: *They tried to ignore their words, but they had already pierced through their heart. They tried to justify what they'd said. They're just scared and confused. They don't mean it. They say inwardly, trying to console themselves. The watcher takes a long breath, and decides to continue through the shadows, but they can't bring themselves to move. They can't help but let their thoughts wander through the horrible memories of when they once were the monster everyone perceived them to be. Is this who I'm supposed to be? Am I meant to play the role of a monster? A demon to torment the innocent? They ask themselves.*

Watcher: *They lower their head, trying to hide the hurt they feel from those words.* I understand... I'll just leave you alone then... sorry for bothering you. *They start walking towards the nearest shadow, and as the shadow gets darker, eyes start to open in it.*

Watcher: if you head about... northeast for let's say... five miles... it should be there. I can walk with you if you'd like, I know a good route that way.

Hmm, if you're talking about Shadow Milk Cookie's Spire of Deceit, then I don't suppose it would hurt to look there. I just feel that he would know it would be the first place we would look... but we shall do that anyway.

Watcher: w-well... we're in... hmm... *their eyes dart around.* Pretty sure we're near the town of Pinebrooke. Though, it is quite a distance.

Watcher: *They winced at the blade as it was pulled out, and backed away.* I-I... I don't know...I am sorry...

Watcher: *They jump back in surprise, nearly falling right to the ground. The watcher recovers a little from the shock, and manages to stutter out,* uh- hello... are you alright?
