However, Brandon isn't a monster and his position does not warrant being put to death. The jurors who heard this case initially confirmed that Brandon had a lesser part in the offense than the lead co-defendant. That is why the jury spared Brandon's life on two of three capital counts, while imposing death on all three for the co-defendant who shot both victims, who has since been put to death.
Although, when making their decision about Brandon, the jurors did not have a plentiful picture of his life, since dire evidence was not before them.
