the larger pen size makes it look cartoony, but the amount of detail and color blending makes it look really well drawn. like how anime can look absolutely peak but you don't really get hype looking at old hyperrealism paintings

I think the Japanese ones are a lot cooler but most of them are evil instead of most of the Chinese ones being like, Jade (Green gem) Gods, protective spirit deers, fortune and prosperity dragons, luck and life stuff

chinese mythology things are the Long dragon (spiky seawave back, 5 claws, glaucous atlanticus tail), phoenix(Feng Huang), waterwalking dragon deer(qilin), and then Japanese things like the Ryu dragon (really cool illustrated curly dragons that looks essentially the same but with 3 claws on their hands), Kappa (turtle man), Tengu (red long nose mountain trickster), Oni (cool iron kanabo ogres), and Kitsune (9 tailed fox)
