Jumpscare of the year

<Jade marked off the trees with a different pattern so she wouldn't get mixed up . . . Eventually traveling long ways in the forest- again>

'...You gotta be kidding me.. okay, stay calm.. plan B..' <Jade started to turn back>

<Jade had hurried along about to see beyond the trees>

<She walked for what felt like hours which in reality has barely been long, she continued her steady pace>

<Jade kept note of each tree now and even the clawwed ones marking the path she walked, unknowing if she might stumble across the village he mentioned yesterday or maybe hopefully return? Its unknown for now with each uneased step>

(Broski living the life while Jade jumped out a window-)

<Jade then decided, leaving a claw mark on a tree wherever she walked to make sure she didn't pass by a tree she already passed>

(Soooo long story short- sibling got Shower dibs and I couldn't get to do allat instead a sink wash I'm back)

(Welp a caprisun just exploded in my face- imma take a quick showah, ya can still rp-respond I'll come back to it)

'..what is this MADNESS!' <she hissed out> 'Magic keeping me from going anywhere . . . Anyone..? Please..?' <she weakly murmured her plea>

<Frustration was slowly overwhelming her in the moment before a shiver ran up her spine, not cold just an odd sense of dread. Her only thoughts- she's lost, her children lost for a while now and without allies, everyday really is rough huh.>

<Jade slightly shrunk- metaphorically, seems one distraction did lead to another and all the trees looked the same to her, she were indeed lost now, wandering aimlessly>

<Jade snorted> 'Such a silly bird ... hm.. I don't feel like plucking tons of feathers for barely anything but bone..' <she tossed it up and looked around, oh right.. lostness>

<Jade had scooped it up in her claws before tumbling down a slope, still holding it as she took her tumble, getting lost slowly overtime considering she was new around here but she lifted it up in victory> 'Haha!'

<Jade scowled with such a short fuse, no less over a literal animal....... she sprung up and shook off the dirt before sprinting wildly towards it>

(The woodpecker might as well say meep meep at this rate lol)

<Jade would then use the wings she formed- which mind you are not even functional so it was just frantic flaps before landing face first into the dirt and muffled a curse into the earth below herself>

<Jade started to claw slowly before moving like a wildcat then springing after it>

<Jade would then form small wings (ref) in an attempt to copy the woodpecker and further more when climbing out the window and her claws to dig into a tree now climbing it and readying another pounce- so so easily distracted by this>

<Jade grumbled while rubbing her head> '..Darn bird brain.....'
