No Title

Dear World,

We had a Lockdown Drill at my school today. I didn’t think that things had gotten this bad until one of my friends started sobbing. It was just a drill, but she was shaking and crying. The usual loud kids who don’t stop for anything were quiet, the kids who never put down their phones were shaking, and the rest were crying. So, maybe if we could assure teens around the world that their school isn’t going to get shot up, the problems would go away, right? Wrong. No one can tell us for sure that our school isn’t going to have a shooting. There’s been two threats already this year. Needless to say, I’m terrified. What the heck has our economy come to? And I know there’s always gonna be threats, when my Grandpa was in school they had Nuclear Bomb Drills, but we could at least plan more then hiding in the corner of a classroom. Sincerely, a teen who’s had way to much of this crap.
