I used to hate the butterflies you gave me
Every time you saved me
You should have seen the look on my face
Whenever I thought of you that way
and I told my friend she said I was a hopeless case
That you can’t get rid of the butterflies
So I decided to tell you
and you liked me back
although the butterflies are still there
I treat them with much more care.
Because I know that you’ll always be there
