PROLOGUE
How it started
Part 1
Sandy woke up uncomfortably to a thorn in her moss bed. She groaned as she pulled it out. “not another thorn!” Sandy complained, “ how are these even getting in my bed?” She slithered out of her bed and went over to her food piles, “what should I have today?” She thought, ”Insects, or watermelon?” Sandy slithered closer to the watermelon pile and said, “ I’ll have watermelon!” So, Sandy took a slice of watermelon and slithered out of her den. She wriggled towards her friends, Brownie, Cocoa, Ash, Hope, and Anu’u. “Hey Sandy! How’s it going?” Hope asked while holding some dragon fruit at her paws. “Hello Hope!” Sandy greeted, “I got a thorn in my bed, again,” “Oh well, I’m sorry about that,” Hope said,” come join us! That will for sure make you forget about that!”
