How to become an awesome artist !

I've heard a lot of artists saying that but they never explained it.

Basically, the more you draw, the better your art gets.
When you draw at first, you are more likely to make mistakes. If so, look at where you make mistakes (ex: hands, proportions...) and try to find a solution.
To find these solutions, there are many ways:

1) Observe the world around you. It will help you with lighting and shading, and also with human poses.

2) Find references on the internet.
Try googling your art problem (maybe it is a very common problem 😅) and find people who will help you solve your problem. Sketching your drawing and 3D references will help you a lot with hands. Also try to make the pose in real life, to see in what position are each bodyparts. I do that a lot.

3) Get inspired. Other artists may inspire you a lot, but be careful to not fall into copying. For example, I was inspired on this app by Nic, Call me Eggs, MinerMaster, M.R and many others.

It also depends on what type of artstyle you want to have: realistic, cartoonish, manga...

One last thing: just remember that you have your own artstyle. No matter how many artists there are on this earth, no matter your age, you will always have your very own artstyle.
DO NOT let people decide on what you should change or not, or accuse you of copying some artist when it isn't the case.
Remember that you are special, and your art WILL get better every day. It may take years, but it will improve.
