Ash’s problem
Episode 2
The sun was starting to set and all of the animals were getting tired... it looked like endless fields of grass. They were in the plains. They searched everywhere for at least a cave or some kind of shelter. Finally, the animals stumbled upon an empty cave and the scent of animals that were here last was old. It had plenty of space for everyone to fit inside it and there was enough room to put the leftovers in one spot. Nightshade and Anu’u went out to search for more food. They found some berries, apples, fish, and some edible flowers from the nearby forest. Everyone else was busy gathering the moss from the lake and leaves to make beds for everyone so that they weren’t sleeping on the cold and hard ground. They also made bedding for the food too. Once Anu’u and Nightshade came back with a lot of food, Sandy was finishing the last bedding for herself and Anu’u took the food to where the leftovers was. Everyone was really hungry and so they took the food they wanted and sat down outside to watch the sun set while they ate.” Isn’t it beautiful?” Hope said looking at Anu’u. Anu’u looked back at Hope and said,”It is, very beautiful,”Ash looked at them. He sighed and just wished that Sandy loved him. He took a deep breath and looked over to Sandy. He gave himself enough confidence to tell Sandy how he felt. He slithered over and whispered to her,” Van I talk to you for a moment, in private?” “Sure!”Sandy agreed. They both went to the side of the cave where no one could see them. Ash took another deep breath then said,” Sandy, I want to tell you the way I feel about you. You may not feel the same but, I love you...” Sandy looked at Ash in shock then said,”Ash... I didn’t know... I’m sorry but... I don’t feel the same..... I like Nightshade... but please don’t tell him, I’m really sorry.” Sandy slithered away and Ash looked at the ground. He would have cried but instead, he raged and his eyes turned from amber to red then thought,” this is all Nightshade’s fault! If he hadn’t gone in that bear cave, Sandy would like me!” Ash’s eyes then turned back to amber then he went into the bushes and softly cried so no one could hear him crying. When Sandy came back to the group Cocoa looked around and asked,” Where is Ash? Is he ok?” “I don’t know if he’s gonna be ok but he’s over there still” Sandy pointed with her tail as she spoke. Coco then asked,” why would he not be ok? What did you say to him?” Sandy got closer and whispered what happened while she was there. Cocoa then said,” oh....” Sandy got a little curious about why Cocoa cared so much about where Ash was and if he was ok? But she is a warrior so Sandy stopped wondering and slithered back over to Nightshade. Ash wiped his face and went back over to the group but he sat farther away from Sandy and Nightshade. Everyone was done eating and they all got sleepy so they all got back inside the cave to sleep. Ash took the one all the way in the back corner where it was darker. Then he drifted off to sleep.
