How Hope got her red eyes

Hope: so when I was younger, I was held in captivity by humans.... They were trying to train me to kill others... before, my eyes showed what emotion I had such as; white=fine, yellow=happy, blue=sad, purple=fear, green= curious, and finally, red=anger. The humans gave me stuffed animals to tear and rip apart and they always were writing on a hard, wooden, brown board while they watched me. I refused to tear the stuffed animals... instead, I cuddled with them but they always took it away after a while and sprayed me with water. When I got older they always yelled at me whenever I refused to train. One day, I had enough of the training and the yelling so, my eyes turned red and I was furious. I growled, and the humans started stepping back in fear... I lunged at them and I made one of them fall to the ground...I looked up and saw the exit, there was a way out of this! So, I rushed for the exit and escaped... the humans didn’t even bother to chase me because they knew that I was stronger than them and I could kill them. So I kept running and running until I reached a farm... it was full of food and water... I went over to the water to drink and I saw that my eyes were still red... even though I wasn’t angry any more... that’s how my eyes are red now...
