I made a creature
His hands are inspired by the demogorgon in Stranger Things. They are used to catch prey and eat.
They have mouthes for only one reason- to send out signals that only their kind can pick up to other beasts. The signals cannot be heard by any other animal, and they are used to help the beasts know where others of them are, and can be used to find prey. The signals can also help define movement nearby, so the beasts can track their prey's movements and whereabouts. The beasts can hear each other's signals because of their antennae-like horns, that move when they detect another beasts' signal. The monsters don't have very good vision, for they usually rely on their movement-tracking signals to find prey.
The monsters' diet consists of foxes, deer, rabbits, and most other forest creatures. They do not usually feed on humans, but if they are provoked or feel endangered by any of them, they will not hesitate to eat them. The monsters are very sly, and don't like to be seen much. They hunt in the evening and early night.
