Footsteps: Prologue

Soo this took forever
Thanks for being patient, I hope the effort put in shows
This is just the prologue I swear it gets more entertaining lmao
So pretty much, this doesn't matter to the story. The prologue is meant to just explain what the situation is, that being that the sky is covered in ashes, putting the world into a winter that gets colder and colder. This being 5 years before the plot takes place, it's not nearly as cold, which shows in their laid back clothing.
Samantha is 11 here, and Grace is 7
So yeah if you don't like this you could still enjoy the actual story, this isn't at all what the actual story will be like and the main character hasn't even been introduced yet, so hang in there uwu
