why?

symbolic. i would feel too guilty leaving them in the dust. they don’t need me, but they need someone to have around, i guess. i’m good to talk to because i never have anything interesting to say.

i’m worthless, but they keep me. so i’ll stick around, i guess. some mixture of cowardice, guilt and a sense of duty. if they keep me, they’ll be sad if they can’t anymore.
