Cool, now I get why you said it was funny because the peko peko part is. Kinda reminds me of something I wrote once with my cousin. It went: heart chiki chiki.

おなか (onaka) - stomach ペコペコ (peko peko) - onomatopoeia for growling noises a stomach makes
it roughly translates to “i’m hungry” but in a cutesy way
i think you can put が in the middle of the two to make it more proper(?)
What does おなかペコペコ translate to? I can read the first part but half of it I can't since I'm still learning.
