tonal languages

ok i speak vietnamese but i hate learning tones im tryingnto learn cantonese for my cousin (he wanted to speak with me secretly in his other language) and im Slowly trying to get to conversational level AND THEN i forgot. Chinese is also a tonal language. I HATE IT HERE i hate tones they were so difficult for me to get right and then WRITING THE TONES it was so Stands Up And Rolls
