A memorial to the golden age of AM (200 follower special)
This app isn't what it once used to be
Back then, you had cruel limitations put upon you, not just skill, but also creativity was a huge factor before, people like Noisy Muscle, Stark11, Kumar and others ruled the rankings with actually impressive drawings and animations, unlike todays "wow look famous guy posted guess this is in ranking now" or "hehe anime boobies"
The community was much more closed off, bit damn, once you had friends, you were friends for life it seemed and each new member to the friend group only added to the fun.
Now this app is but a hollow shell of itself, nothing like the boundary-pushing community I fell in love with back in 2018/19.
I want to dedicate this drawing to those times.
It may not be much, but this was drawn with the old limitations in mind, meaning no paint bucket, basically only 3 usable brush thicknesses, maybe 4 shades of each colour (yes that includes black/white), no color history, and most certainly no free color ratio.
To all the OGs and my old friends seeing this:
I salute you. And I miss you.
