So 3(4+7)-6+14/4 is solved just like this

You would do the side problem first which will then leave you with 3x11-6+14/4

You then solve the equation from the left, also the right slash / is another term for divide

33-6+3.5 then 33- 9.5 is the last problem

And the final sum is 23.5
