The KKK Flag you saw was โThe Kataastaasang, Kagalanggalangang, Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayanโ is a Filipino Revolution that started and formed in July 7, 1892 to revolt against the Spaniards and also trying to gain it's Independence from the Spanish Influences. The Spanish once colonized the Philippine Archipelago 1521, which leaves a massive footprint in the Philippines even the Tagalog Language. The Colonial Period only lasted until 1898 when the KKK became uncontrollably stronger and the Spaniards have no choice but to give the Philippine Archipelago it's own Independence thanks to the help of the Americans. But Americans ended up colonizing Philippines too... The American Colonialization of the Philippines only remained around 48 years probably and also 2 to 3 years for the Japanese Empire, where after the betrayal, Philippines and the U.N finally come and each other other to fight off the Japanese Empire. And so, in 1946, Philippines finally gained it's Real Independence after all those suffering drought for centuries...
