Holy shit I was fully awake as i was sleeping and falling asleep

Its hard to explain but I tried focusing on the sound of my fan in my bedroom and nothing else, and stayed completely still. Eventually I got this jolt shock numbing sensation but not quite, it's hard to explain, but soon my body went fully asleep and kept on doing weird stuff, muscles twitching, numb, ears popping, weird sensations.
