My brother keeps saying he has depression and idk why

But I can say, he has proper therapy treatment that aims for any source of his anger issues or anxiety, he is the favorite child, he gets treated like a prince, he can get away with lying, he has immense amounts of energy, he has more friends than me even though he has 6, and he gets as many gifts as he likes. But I guess you can be depressed no matter what
