Is learning about the US Constitution’s 1st amendment going to help me become successful in life?

Because that’s what I’m learning about now. I’m also learning about Susan B Anthony and their making us learn about corn. Freaking corn. I bet I’m gonna learn about all this right now and never hear it again. That’s just making reasons to keep us in school. How is any of this going to help me in my future. The only useful thing I’m learning about in school right now is science because I’m becoming a scientist. Maybe school is useless because instead of teaching me how to cook, use an oven correctly, what to do in natural disasters, and how to survive in the wild, their teaching us something that I don’t even eat that much which is corn. That would school a good use and not making it seem like they’re just getting reasons to keep us in school. It’s really not nice.
