"Attack of the Dead Men"

You see!! This is the type of shit I would want to learn in history class or whatever...I never knew abt this until I came across it on some YT short bro...

🚨 If u wanna read go ahead lol if not I put 4 slashes or whateva on the summary if u wanna skip!!! 🚨

Small summary abt The Attack of The Dead Men:
🛑////This was during WW1, some German troops tried to take the Osowiec fortress that was being defended by Russians. So one day on August 06, 1915, German troops, abt 7000 of them decided to use fucking poison gas which was made of chlorine and bomaine. At that time, poison gas was new and only the Germans there had poisonous gas masks while the Russians didnt have any proper equipment at all. They did try to wrap their nose and face with white cloth but sadly didnt much work. There were abt 900 Russians, and when the Germans shot the poisonous gas, abt 800 suffered and died. Because this poison gas was meant to like,, literally melt ur insides. But out of some like walking dead scene, at the back far 100 of them Russians rose back up like corpses literally with blood running from their eyes, chemical burns from the poisonous gas, coughing up blood and parts of their lungs and trouble breathing, and started marching again- so those Germans got so scared at this horrific scene they ran away. Like they said 'fuck this' and dipped.////🛑

I mean- like I would've been flying out of there as well if I saw that unfold in front of my eyes.

EXACTLY LIKE- we only learn these types of things ourself they never teach us this 😮‍💨
But I agree like- the human determination or adrenaline is crazyyyy.. like these soldiers had the mindset to defend even while suffering
Fr like all they say is things everyone already knows cuz they heard it like 1000 times for example like "ww1 started by some Serbian guy shooting an Austrian prince or something" and just stuff worksheets on our faces

BUT OMGEE I remember hearing (not in school tho) abt the pigeon!! Literal hero 🙌✨️

OMG IVE LEARNED ABOUT THIS, not from school but I’ve seen it in a history meme ☠️🙏 shits hella scary but I’m just so fascinated at what the human body can do while actively getting killed in the process, the human determination is scary. I wish school would teach this instead of giving us worksheets and telling us to deal with it 😒. I also wished more people knew about the hero pigeon that saved 194 soldiers during ww1, lil dude was a champ🥇🐦

But yea, it's terrifying, but on the side of those Russian soldiers it really was something brave fr. Like I can't imagine the pain and suffering they had to go through..
Like when I heard abt this I was amused
