I need a second opinion

So I'm having a debate with yourfavoriteblackgirl because she believes independence day shouldn't exist. And that only (istg I can't think of the name) the other one should because the people who escaped from the British on Independence day still had slaves and were racist ect and while I agree that's a terrible thing I still think that it's good they escaped and the holiday should exist and so should the other one and she's saying that isn't true to read the whole thing since ik I explained bad read my recent coments and her recent coments cause ifk
(I also asked my mom for a second opinion and she says that she just sounds racist towards white people but I don't quite agree with that(

Ok good to know I'm just scared she'll pull the racist card like some bully's of mine in 5th grade did (they bullied me for being white and shit and when I told the teacher they called me racist)
