Yes you are absolutely better off without her and I'm so glad you are in a safe place now. She should be in a prison wtf. I don't know what to say.. I know it's hard even now but you need to stand up for yourself. She isn't in power anymore she can't hurt you. You might've not been able to do anything when u were a kid but you aren't a kid anymore you have the power now. You gotta stand up for yourself man :(

I haven’t lived with her since I was 11, she still scares me and when shes in front of me I can’t stand up for myself cause I just cave. She never disowned me. She just beat the fuck out of me and my sister constantly. It got to a point where we would wake up and go outside just to avoid pissing her off. And it was worse if someone who wasnt us pissed her off. So Im better off. As for why? Id blame drugs and her crackhead friends
