I've waken up to my bead shaking and a tall skinny solid figure standing at the base of my bed.

It was, I still remember it whenever I have to use the bathroom at night. (Didn’t help I was afraid of Freddy fazbear at the time 💀)

That sounds terrifying.

I spent the night at my grandmothers house when I was little. My parents were going through a fit, and my sister and I slept in the same room. Eventually, after sleeping in the same bed, she refused to let me snore. And it really pissed me off. Anyways, as I was sleeping I woke up, and got the urge to use the restroom. I got up, the pitch black bedroom dark as ever. And shuffled out the door towards the hallway. As if it was made of a void itself, I stared blankly inside of it, and slowly walked. One foot in front of the other, I went down the hallway. But I heard something shuffle, and I looked around.

And it sounds fake to say this, and I know how cheesy it is. But I saw a bright red man standing in front of me. And he looked down at me, and I pissed my fucking pants. (I was fine and scrambled back to bed. But I couldn’t sleep.)
